Monterey Bay Aquarium

The former sardine cannery is now a top attraction on Monterey’s Cannery Row, with over 35,000 creatures representing over 550 sea life and marine species. Key exhibits include the Kelp Forest, the Open Sea and the Sea Otters (of course!). The Aquarium's newest exhibit Into the Deep: Exploring Our Undiscovered Ocean is not to be missed, showcasing the largest collection of deep-sea animals in North America. Monterey County Wine Tasting
Monterey County is one of the largest wine growing and producing regions in California, made famous by unique microclimates and diverse growing conditions across 45,000 acres of premium vineyards that produce 53 varietals, including Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
The secret to Monterey's viticultural success is the "Blue Grand Canyon": the cold, deep waters of Monterey Bay bring fog and moderate temperatures throughout the growing season and infuse every drop of the region's wine with an impressive style and structure. Oenophiles can enjoy Monterey wine at over 65 tasting rooms in popular wine tasting areas including Monterey Wine Trail in Salinas Valley, sun-kissed Carmel Valley and the charming one-square-mile village of Carmel-by-the-Sea.
Explore Historic Cannery Row
With its picturesque charm and colorful history, Cannery Row captivates visitors from all over the world. The unique appeal of this fabled street is what makes Cannery Row the most popular vacation destination on California’s Central Coast. With luxurious waterfront hotels, enticing restaurants and captivating boutiques, Cannery Row is the ideal place to soak up the culture and beauty of Monterey Bay.
