Celebrate Women's History at Asilomar!

Asilomar is rich in women’s history, so we take celebrating Women’s History Month seriously. This year’s festivities include a keynote address by Dr. Traci Bliss, author of “Big Basin Redwood Forest: California’s Oldest State Park,” which illuminates the pivotal role women played in California’s environmental conservation movement. Celebrate how the brave women of the 1920s broke boundaries by learning to dance the Charleston and Jitterbug in free workshops (1920s period attire encouraged!) Take a guided tour of Asilomar’s Historic Core buildings designed by California’s first female architect, Julia Morgan
