Pacific Repertory Theatre presents the regional premiere of Come From Away, the award-winning musical based on the true story of Gander, Newfoundland. When air travel was halted after the September 11 attacks, 38 planes were diverted to the small town, bringing nearly 7,000 stranded passengers. Residents opened homes, schools and hearts, turning strangers into friends. Directed and choreographed by Joe Niesen, with musical direction by Desma Johnson, the production celebrates generosity, resilience and the kindness that can emerge in a crisis. Winner of the Olivier Award for Best New Musical and a Tony-nominated Broadway hit, it features a soaring score and an ensemble playing multiple roles. An ASL-interpreted performance is included in the run. Tickets are $16 to $55 at PacRep.org, the only official ticket outlet.
