Monthly First Fridays at Monterey Museum of Art are an amazing opportunity for a free visit to the Museum, which is centered around the diversity of California artists. Featuring live music, snacks, and locally-produced beer and wine, First Friday also includes an art activity that connects guests to its current exhibitions.

In June, First Friday will welcome summer with an outdoor in the sculpture garden at Frances Elkins Park just outside the Museum with the local Youth Arts Collective artists at work, and an artmaking project based on the work of renowned local artist David Ligare.
