John "Johnny" L. Nash Jr. and the Monterey Peninsula Gospel Community Choir presents a special Gospel Heritage Month Concert at Carmel Sunset Center on September 27, 2026 at 5:00 pm. (Doors open at 4:30). This celebration features the works of the legendary Grammy award-winning Richard Smallwood, merging classical and gospel music. Special guests include: Texas Southern University Gospel Choir, John Wineglass, Damien Sneed, and several guest soloists from around the country.
