This is a charity event benefitting Monterey public schools music and arts and Meniere’s disease featuring Santana’s lead singer for over 20 years, Tony Lindsay (11 time Grammy winner) and numerous studio and recording artists both local and from the recoding industry at large. Huey Lewis recently gave his support to the event, as he suffers from Meniere’s which caused his premature retirement from performing and is a support of youth music.
There will be two stages, outside a rock/rhythm & Blues stage and inside a Jazz night club.
Local singers and musicians participating include Bruce Forman, Zoe Alexander, Miranda Perl, Adam Astrup, Bryce and Nina Albert and Janice Perl. Renown Ukranian saxophonist Andrey Chmut will be on stage with Tony Lindsay and a full band and backup singers.
