Celebrate Sea Otter Awareness Week with a sea otter scientist! Have you ever wondered what it would be like to study sea otters? Now you can! Join Monterey Bay Eco Tours for a tour with special guest Michelle Staedler. Michelle is a sea otter researcher and was the leading sea otter researcher for the Monterey Bay Aquarium for 35 years. Now, Michelle is helping with a collaborative study of the sea otter population in Elkhorn Slough led by UC Santa Cruz researchers. Michelle will share her knowledge of the population and what insights their research efforts have shown thus far.
