Whalefest is a 2-day FREE community event set around Monterey’s Old Fisherman’s Wharf and the adjacent Custom House Plaza, designed to be enjoyed by attendees of all ages.
Whalefest brings together dozens of local and national non-profit organizations and exhibitors focused on marine science, sustainability of land and sea, the environment, and the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary.
Whalefest Monterey features a Speaker Symposium at the Historic Stanton Center in the Monterey Museum of History & Art, located at Custom House Plaza, where world-renowned scientists from local marine science research institutions share their latest research findings.
