The property was built in 1929 as the Hotel Saint George and went through various lodging incarnations before becoming a European-style Bed & Breakfast in the 1980s. In 2007, the property underwent a complete remodeling from the ground floor up and transformed the hotel into seventeen well-appointed rooms reviving the grandeur of the past. The hotel reopened in 2009 and is now outfitted in Beaux Arts décor with high end fixtures, and exquisite dining and bar areas, including the LindaRose Rooftop Bar & Grill with sweeping panoramic views of Monterey Bay, Del Monte Beach, and the City Center.
