Tides & Terroir, a new two-day wine, food, and artisan makers weekend on the Monterey Coast, has announced the lineup for the inaugural event, October 16-17 at Asilomar State Beach & Conference Grounds, Monterey Peninsulas Refuge by the Sea.
The weekend opens with A Coastal Table dinner in Merrill Hall, and continues the next day with Tasting by the Tides, an outdoor strolling wine, food, and artisan market in the Grand Cypress Meadow, just steps from the Pacific.
Chefs and purveyors include Ad Astra, Adam Silverstein, Chieftess Monterey Bay, Grasings, La Crème Monterey, La Playa Hotel, Nice Kid Pizza, Oystertown, Paradise Catering, Quoign Chocolates, and Sea Shack Candy Co., with more to be announced.
A market of local makers will run alongside the tasting, featuring Casey Starks Studio, Coastal Club 831, Valley Botanicals and High Flow Gallerys Bekah Bull and Jason Kurzer, who will live-paint two Boynton Surfboards for auction with a portion of the proceeds supporting the Monterey State Historic Parks Association.
