  Salinas, CA - Get ready to saddle up for a dazzling display of inclusivity and diversity as “Spurs and Sparkles,” a unique rodeo-themed Pride celebration takes over Central Park in Salinas on October 14th from 11am-3pm.
  
  This exciting event, hosted by Salinas Valley Pride Celebrations, promises a day filled with electrifying entertainment, meaningful dialogue, and vibrant community engagement. Attendees can expect a colorful lineup of activities, including:
  
  Drag Performers: Experience the art of drag with captivating performances that celebrate individuality and self-expression
  Belly Dancers: Enjoy the mesmerizing moves of belly dancers, adding a touch of cultural flair to the festivities
  Political Speakers: Hear from inspiring speakers advocating for LGBTQIA+ rights and social justice
  Booths Featuring Local Artisans, Community Groups, Queer Artists, and Community Resources: Discover and support the talent of local creators and learn how the Salinas Valley supports the LGBTQIA+ community
  Rapid HIV Testing: Take Advantage of onsite HIV testing services, promoting health and awareness within the community
  Local LGBTQIA+ Health Resources: Access vital information and resources related to LGBTQIA+ physical and mental health and well being
