See Monterey Marketing Communications Opportunities
See Monterey provides members with cooperative marketing & communications opportunities throughout the year in various formats. Review the options below and learn how to get involved with each!
Find Your Way Here Campaign Toolkit
See Monterey created a Find Your Way Here campaign toolkit to inform destination partners on the new brand identity and campaign, and ensure See Monterey and our partners are conveying unified messaging about our destination.
Content Submissions
Submit content to us any time you have news, updates and ideas! Submissions are always considered for inclusion in digital and social media, email newsletters + the SeeMonterey.com blog and MeetinMonterey.com blog and See Monterey PR. Look out for opportunities to host media that the PR team is hosting and be featured in print, online, broadcast and social media.

Digital Co-Op Opportunities
Participate in targeted campaign co-ops throughout the year for leisure and group publications!
We are still planning co-op opportunities for FY2324. These programs are perfect for businesses with smaller marketing budgets and limited resources. See Monterey manages the program and reports on behalf of participants while covering a portion of the campaign costs. This is a great way to get your business in front of a large, targeted audience! In the past, See Monterey has offered an SEO and social media co-op, both of which have proven to be successful for our participating partners.
As we dive into planning co-ops for the year, we'd love to hear which type of co-op you're interested in. Just drop us a line at marketing@seemonterey.com.
Kind Traveler Hotel Partnership
EVERY STAY GIVES BACK
This partnership is open to hotels only. See Monterey is a Destination Sponsor with Kind Traveler, the first Give + Get hotel booking and sustainable travel media platform, focused on connecting travelers to sustainable destinations and hotels. Kind Traveler has recently launched their newest program, Every Stay Gives Back, which enables lodging partners to empower travelers to positively impact the local community.
Research has shown that 97% of travelers want their travel dollars to positively impact the communities they visit (2022 Kind Traveler Impact Tourism Report). Discover how you can meet the needs of today’s visitors traveling with a regenerative mindset seeking to leave destinations better than before they arrived. See Monterey is inviting lodging partners to participate in a sustainability & marketing initiative spearheaded by Visit California and Kind Traveler where every guest stay can mobilize funding for local charities in Monterey County.
Through Kind Traveler’s Every Stay Gives Back program, learn how to celebrate and communicate positive impact metrics garnered with every guest visit, meet sustainability goals, and gain endless storytelling opportunities, PR angles, competitive advantage and guest loyalty — all while promoting a direct booking.
If you are interested in learning more about the program please email us at marketing@seemonterey.com.
Visitor Profile Study
See Monterey is taking significant strides to enhance its understanding of Monterey County visitors and their preferences by leveraging technology-enabled intercepts to elevate its research efforts across the destination. The new study will be live in locations throughout the county displaying QR codes. The technology-enabled intercepts are expected to double the number of participants, allowing for a more robust data-driven and real-time analysis of visitor behaviors and preferences.
But we need your help to conduct this study! We are counting on your participation to get these important surveys in front of visitors and motivate your frontline employees to talk this up. The more information we gather, the more accurate the information will be, and the better we can strategize going forward.
If you are interested in participating, please email us at marketing@seemonterey.com.
