Located among majestic Coastal Redwood trees along the pristine Big Sur River, Big Sur Campground & Cabins offers camping and lodging with the emphasis on Family. Enjoy tent and RV camping on the forest floor as you watch the kids inner tube by in the cool water. Or pamper your family in one of several styles of cabins, from rustic camping cabins to fully equipped cabins with kitchens and fireplaces.

Our cabins are a great way to take advantage of Big Sur without loading and unloading a bunch of gear. Just drive in and enjoy!

One-bedroom units include a queen size inner-spring futon for use as an extra bed in the living room. Several cabins come with a fully equipped kitchen, including all cooking and eating utensils, a stove, refrigerator and microwave. We also offer unique A-Frame cabins with sleeping lofts.

May through October are the busiest months of the year, and reservations are recommended up to 12 months in advance for weekend or holiday stays. If you can visit during the off-season months, you'll generally find smaller crowds.
